Dramabeans Parody Contest

Alas, i did not win the Dramabeans parody contest, although a lot of great netizens have expressed their desire for me to win. All i can say is thank you...

The honorable mention was not as bad. (Although i had desperately wanted the Boys over Flowers OST CD)
This was my first ever time making a parody. Heck i didn't even know what it was before this. MV's were my domain. But after this i am beginning to slowly slip into the Parody Drama line. Lets see what i come up with next. (hmm.. possibly a Yi Jung and Woo Bin pairing..ha ha that would be amusing)

Anyways here are the two videos that i submitted. As expected "Fate" got the best response and it was one of by best works till now.

  01) Fate

02) Pride and Prejudice

Hanbok....the most adorable cultural dress

After seeing Lee min ho greet us for the new year in a Hanbok, the traditional korea dress...it was decided. The Hanbok is the most adorable of the cultural dresses.

Honestly i love Indian traditional dresses, with their vibrancy and colour..but i also love the korean dress for its simplicity and sophisticated style.

The bubbly Gu Hye Sun (Boys over Flowers) looked positvely beautiful in a Hanbok for her role in The King and I.

And here is Lee Min Ho in his Hanbok. The second one has a close resemblence to the Indian traditional costume "Sherwani"

And here is the reason for its adorable-ness...ENJOY

Joo Ji hoon arrested for drug use

Drugs have become exceedingly common with every other celebrity nowadays getting caught for drug use.
However Joo Ji Hoon's arrest really shocked me. He was a good actor with popular dramas such as Goong and Antique bakery to his name.
Being a huge fan of the Goong series i admired him for his cold and distant acting in the series but this new comes as a shock not only because of his work but because of him being a korean.
As far as i have heard it is exceptionally rare to find blatant drug usage in korea and it is a highly offensive punishable crime. Were it the US I'm sure his career would have bounced back gaining him much needed popularity. However this is Korea which practically means his career os over. Its still hard to get over seeing how good he was.

Well a korean netizen put it right..."In korea illegal drug use = career killer...no chance of coming back" He may possibly be facing jail time as well.

Ji Hoon and Yoon Eun Hye ( Goong)
Read the news at Dramabeans

What shocks me at another level is : what would happen if such were to happen in my own country. Its no hidden fact that drug use in India is almost at par with US.

What if one day news of a famous Indian celeb would come out connect with drugs. Ji Hoon's carrer is an end..but would Indian actors be met with the same fate?? Or would they slip off the hook like every other time?
